About Ana
Modern pop, played
like a love letter
Ana Done is a professional Dallas–Fort Worth wedding violinist serving celebrations across Texas and worldwide. Trained at Baylor University and performing since childhood, she specializes in romantic, Bridgerton-inspired live violin and luxurious, elegant music for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.
Her cinematic arrangements reimagine Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Adele, and Olivia Rodrigo as music couples can walk down the aisle to. She performs solo or with duo, trio, and quartet ensembles, and every ceremony is arranged around the couple’s story — never background music. Offstage, she is a middle school librarian and a self-taught, cover song recording artist.

What types of weddings and events can I book Ana for?
Ana performs for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, engagements, proposals, corporate events, private parties, graduations, birthdays, and other milestone celebrations. Use the inquiry form to share your event type, schedule, venue, and vision.
Which parts of a wedding day can include live violin?
Coverage can begin with 30 minutes of prelude music as guests arrive, continue through the ceremony, and expand into cocktail hour. Encore experiences can also include the grand entrance, first dance, parent or family dances, dinner music, or violin improvisation with your DJ over selected tracks.
Can we choose our songs or request a custom arrangement?
Yes. Every booking includes personalized playlist planning and backing tracks, including some of Ana’s own. Ana specializes in romantic pop, Bridgerton-inspired arrangements, classical favorites, and cinematic wedding music. If your meaningful song is not already available, ask about a custom arrangement or recording.
How does Ana coordinate with planners, venues, and DJs?
Ana arrives early for setup, soundcheck, and warmup and coordinates the final timeline and musical cues with your planning team. A coordination call is available the week of the event. For reception moments, Ana can also plan transitions and selected violin-with-DJ performances in advance.
What information does the venue or planner need to provide?
Please share the final timeline, ceremony cues, venue contact, load-in and parking instructions, available power, and the indoor backup plan for an outdoor event. Ana can furnish a certificate of insurance on request and will confirm the exact performance-space and sound needs for your booking.
Can Ana perform outdoors?
Outdoor performances are welcome when there is a safe, level, weather-protected place for Ana, her violin, and sound equipment. Because direct sun, rain, wind, and extreme temperatures can damage string instruments and equipment, an indoor or fully covered backup location should be planned with the venue.
Does Ana bring sound equipment and carry insurance?
Yes. Ana provides the professional setup required for the booked experience and carries event liability insurance through Insurance Canopy. A certificate of insurance can be sent to the venue when requested. Exact power, placement, and sound requirements are confirmed before the event.
Where does Ana travel for weddings and events?
Ana serves Dallas–Fort Worth and North Texas, travels throughout Texas, and is available for destination weddings and events worldwide. DFW and North Texas bookings use the standard regional fee. Austin, Houston, San Antonio, other South Texas locations, out-of-state events, and international celebrations receive a tailored quote that reflects travel and logistics.
What determines the booking fee?
Your quote is based on the event location, performance length, selected package, schedule, travel, production needs, and any custom music requests. Share as much detail as possible in the inquiry form so Ana can provide an accurate, all-in proposal for your celebration.
How far in advance should we inquire, and how do we reserve a date?
Inquire as soon as your date and venue are known, especially for peak wedding weekends and destination events. Submit the booking form and Ana will reply within two business days with availability and the next steps. A date is not reserved until the booking process is complete.
